1973: Bob Allen bought Superior Toyota along with his wife, Joy, and their son, Robert Jr. (Rob) in downtown Lancaster on East King Street in November
1973: Superior Toyota was changed to Lancaster Toyota
December 1974: Lancaster Toyota moved to its current location, 5270 Manheim Pike, in East Petersburg.
1975: Another franchise was added to the family as Lancaster Toyota became Lancaster Toyota Mazda (LTM)
September 1976: John Seyfert was hired as the company’s first GM
January 1977: Rick Price (current GM) was hired as a salesman
January 1979: John Green (current Sr. Sales Manager) was hired as a salesman
April 1985: LTM’s current Used Car Center was established in a separate facility across the street from the Toyota New Car showroom on Enterprise Road
December 1999: Daewoo franchise was added to the Lancaster Toyota Mazda family (discontinued in 2001 due to changes in Daewoo Corporation)
2003: Another franchise was added to the family as Lancaster Toyota Mazda became Lancaster Toyota Mazda Scion
Spring 2005: Present day Truck and SUV Center was established, one block east from the Toyota New Car showroom
2008: Rick Price took over as GM upon John Seyfert’s retirement
2009: Central PA’s #1 Volume Toyota Dealer*
